The Roswell design has always been defined by clarity of form, thoughtful proportion and a modern interpretation of Art Deco lighting. With the introduction of the Roswell pendant, we set out to extend this design language into a refined piece of luxury ceiling lighting, offering interior designers a sculptural yet understated new option for contemporary spaces.
Handcrafted in England, the Roswell Pendant reflects our commitment to British craftsmanship and bespoke lighting. It is a natural evolution of an established design, translated with precision into an architectural ceiling light that feels considered and enduring.
The original Roswell Table Light was designed as a versatile piece that would elevate a wide range of interiors. Its elliptical glass form and clean metal detailing established a strong visual identity, making it a core decorative element within layered lighting schemes.
As we saw demand for the customisation of the table light in both residential and hospitality projects, the opportunity emerged to develop a ceiling lighting design that carried the same character. The Roswell Pendant was not conceived as a direct replica, but as a thoughtful reworking of the original, adapted with scale, suspension and spatial presence in mind.
At the centre of the Roswell Pendant is a smooth, elliptical disc of opaline glass. The glass diffuses light evenly, creating a warm ambient glow that supports atmosphere without overpowering a space. Above, slender vertical metal rods introduce upward structure, creating a measured contrast with the curved glass below. The soft, flowing edges of the central glass pendant brings an essential balance to the overall aesthetic, reflecting our approach to contemporary Art Deco Lighting.
The Roswell table light remains a cornerstone of the collection and a clear reference point for the pendant’s design. Handcrafted with the same attention to detail, it is widely specified across high-end interior projects and has been featured in refined hospitality settings, including the Claridge’s Restaurant Bar.
