We’re pleased to unveil the Alba Wall Light Series – a sculptural collection that brings together the quiet elegance of early 20th-century design with the timeless appeal of cast brass. A subtle nod to the centenary of Art Deco, the series draws on both organic inspiration and refined geometry, creating a sense of rhythm and poise in any interior setting.
Echoing the soft contours of the ginkgo leaf, each piece in the series features a hand-sculpted surface that captures the delicate veining and natural structure of its botanical muse. Designed in close collaboration between our in-house pattern maker and design team, the result is a refined contrast between the softness of nature and the strength of its cast form.
As with all Collier Webb lighting, every Alba is made entirely in-house at our Foundry and Workshop in East Sussex. Crafted using the lost wax casting method, the series allows for intricate detail and textural depth. Once cast, each light is individually hand-finished by our expert craftspeople, bringing out the nuance of its reeded surface.
With a projection of just 108mm (4.2”), the Alba is ideal for hallways, stairwells, and more compact spaces where proportion and impact are equally important. The collection includes three configurations – the Alba, Alba Duo and Alba Trio – each available in a choice of our signature metal finishes. Duo and Trio options can also be specified in mixed finishes for subtle contrast or tonal continuity within a scheme.
