Product Details
The Crest Wall Light gives the series its starting note. A shade hand-carved from a single piece of alabaster is set against a reflective backplate that gathers and returns the light, held in place by brass clasps sculpted and cast using the ancient lost-wax technique.
Handmade to order at Collier Webb's East Sussex foundry, each example carries the natural veining and warmth unique to its alabaster.
The Crest Pendant brings the shell design language overhead in the form of a statement piece, fitting beautifully in the centre of a living room or entry way, above a dining table or console. A scalloped shade, hand-carved from a single piece of alabaster, is suspended from a brass rod with a section of thicker reeded detailing, rising to a semi-domed ceiling rose, while a cast brass finial sits at the centre point of the shade.

Crest Wall Light
The Crest Wall Light's effect is architectural and organic - coastal influence meets interior elegance, lit softly from within. Framing a hallway mirror, mounted beside a bed or in considered repetition along a wall, it reads less as a fitting than as a sculptural piece of art.
The Design
Inspired by the organic form of the shell, Crest comprises a wall light, a ceiling pendant and a semi-flush mount ceiling light. Each is built around a shade hand-carved from a single piece of alabaster, a material chosen for its luminous depth and individual character - soft veining, warmth of tone, and a distinctive way of diffusing light, with no two shades turning out identically.
Crest Ceiling Pendant
The Crest Pendant casts a soft, diffused light - a distinctive characteristic of alabaster - against the brass detailing echoing the wall light, the thread that connects each piece in the series.
