Outside Sales Representative (USA)

Permanent, Full-time Contract

Department: Sales

Reports To: Head of Sales, North America (Primary) / UK Sales and Business Development Manager (Secondary)

Location: Central base: Collier Webb Showroom | New York Design Center, 200 Lexington Avenue

We’re looking for a highly driven, field-focused Outside Sales Representative to accelerate
business growth across the Northeast – from Boston to Washington, D.C., with the Tri-State
area as the primary hub and emphasis for sales growth.
This is a road-based role. You will spend the majority of your time in the field – visiting clients,
attending trade events, and building relationships across a multi-state territory. The New York
showroom serves as your home base, but success comes from your presence in the market,
not behind a desk.
Your clients span the Northeast: interior designers, architects, high-end residential developers,
luxury hospitality projects, and commercial specification firms from Boston to D.C.

To apply, please email a CV and Covering Letter to [email protected].

Sales & Business Development

  • ·      Own your territory - full accountability for your individual sales target and pipeline

    ·      Actively drive new business through consistent field outreach, client visits, networking
and industry engagement across the full Northeast territory – significant travel within
the region is expected and essential

    ·     Build, maintain and actively convert a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring
consistent momentum from first contact through to order

    ·      Manage the full sales cycle, including presentations, proposals, quotes, order
    management and aftercare

    ·      Re-engage dormant accounts and convert them into active clients

  • ·      Develop and grow existing client relationships to maximise repeat business

  • ·      Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring new products and services are
    effectively introduced and specified

Client Meetings & Market Presence

  • ·      Schedule and lead client meetings at client studios, project sites, and the New York
showroom across the Northeast territory, confidently presenting the brand and
    converting opportunities into projects

    ·      Maintain a strong and visible presence across the Northeast design community – from
Boston and New York to Philadelphia, D.C., and key markets in between – representing
Collier Webb at industry events, trade shows, networking functions and client meetings

    ·      Take ownership of all follow up, ensuring opportunities are progressed and closed in a
    timely manner

Showroom, Territory Management & Reporting

  • ·      Ensure showroom is always presented to an exceptional standard - welcoming, on
brand and used as a powerful tool to support sales

    ·      Host clients in the showroom, delivering a strong brand presence and supporting
conversion through presentations and product knowledge

    ·      Work closely with Head of Sales, Sales and Business Development Manager, and EVP
North America to share territory market insight, competitive intelligence, opportunities
and account updates across the region

  • ·      Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and weekly reporting through
    CRM

      • ·      Proven sales experience in interiors, luxury goods, or related sectors
        ·      Established network across the Northeast design and interiors market – contacts in
Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and/or Washington, D.C. strongly preferred
        ·      Natural relationship builder, confident in outreach, networking and converting new
        business.
        ·      Commercially driven, self-motivated, and highly organised
        ·      Comfortable with CRMs, pipeline management, and weekly reporting.
        - Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, and Salesforce Preferred
        ·      Genuine passion for design and luxury interiors

    ● Creating compelling stories around new collections, bespoke commissions,
    collaborations and craftsmanship.
    ● Producing and maintaining marketing collateral including brochures, specification
sheets, presentation materials and digital assets.
    ● Managing and organising our growing library of photography, video and brand
assets to ensure effortless access across teams and markets.
