The Johanna Lantern stands tall with a seven-sided brass frame that balances architectural poise with organic rhythm. Defined by strong, straight lines, the main body recalls the geometry of Georgian lanterns, with its brass banding, softened by subtle curves, reflecting the gentle ebb of the landscape's profile. Its base tapers through triangular glass panels to a single point, accented by a cast-brass finial - an elegant detail which took influence from the natural elements found along the South Downs.
Designed to bring sculptural depth and visual intrigue, the interior candlesticks feature vertical reeded detail, whilst the four distinctive glass options have been selected to capture and refract light like water catching the sun. Offered with a reeded brass rod or chain, the Johanna Lantern is equally suited to drawing the eye upward in a grand hallway or bringing elegant height to more intimate interiors.
With the ability to specify the glass in Clear, Clear Reeded, Moss Grey or Blush, and pair with any of our signature metal finishes, the Johanna can be customised to suit your project requirements. Whether suspended by a reeded rod or brass chain, it combines structural clarity and heritage craftsmanship.
If a precise drop is required, we recommend specifying the Reeded Rod. The chain specification will result in a +/- 50mm difference in drop due to the chain having to terminate on a chain ring and not a chain oval.
