The beautiful detail of the Papworth curtain tieback radiates Victorian period charm.
The pattern dates back to 1840, the early years of Queen Victoria’s reign. The styles of various countries and eras collided during this time, this design is an excellent example of this.
Its forms are Louis XV revival but are drawn by the hand of an architect expert in the rendition of Grecian acanthus.
This expertly handcrafted antique reproduction is made using the same traditional techniques that would have been used to make the original.
The Papworth tieback forms part of the Historic Range by Edward Bulmer, a collection of intricately detailed hardware used by Edward for his highly renowned historic interior design projects.
