Few architects managed the transition from Roman to Grecian classicism as skilfully as Henry Holland. Doors on his projects are embellished with elegant classical designs, that simplified as his career developed.
This pattern can be found in his late projects including Southill Park in Bedforshire and The Albany, London’s – first apartment’s, completed by Holland in 1803.
