Global luxury brand Belstaff recently invited motorcycle aficionado David Beckham to open their new flagship London store on New Bond Street, bringing the city to a standstill as the footballer posed in the street outside with an entourage of models sporting the latest in Belstaff branded leathers.

While its original façade has been retained, the interior structure of the building has been redesigned to reflect Belstaff’s unique heritage and contemporary luxuriance.

According to the principles of exquisite craftsmanship and fine materials of Manhattan-based design firm Studio Sofield, Collier Webb was commissioned to create a collection of bronze lanterns and plafonniers for the store’s ground floor. In design, these pieces are simple and elegant; in manufacture, masterpieces of execution.

Collier Webb handled additional components for the Belstaff London design, including a line of lamps from their catalogue range, as well as custom lighting and hardware elements. The Collier Webb foundry also cast two bronze name plaques that follow the contours of the columns flanking the boutique’s central entrance.
